In music class at Whittier, students learn concepts based on the BVSD and Colorado music content standards. Students learn to sing, move and play within a variety of styles of music encompassing many time periods and cultures. Singing is emphasized at every grade level, and students have the opportunity to play a variety of instruments including pitched and nonpitched percussion instruments, ukulele, guitar, keyboard, and more!
