Christopher Pagliaro

Hello!  My name is Chris Pagliaro, and I am the music teacher at Whittier.  I graduated from the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in music education and violin performance, after which I completed a Master’s degree in Suzuki pedagogy at the Hartt School in Connecticut, where I grew up.  To further my practice, I have completed level 1 training in both the Orff and Kodaly methodologies of music teaching.  Before coming to Whittier, I taught for three years in Denver Public Schools, and I am now very fortunate to be a member the diverse, caring, Whittier community.  I am looking forward to exploring all types of music with the students, as well as creating music of our own!  When I am not making music, I love to be hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and enjoying the outdoors.  I am looking forward to a great year at Whittier!
